TRAIN Bookings Terms and Conditions



1. Once Payement has been confirmed We will book and Purchase train tickets on your behalf.

2. Payments can be made either by Visa, Master Card via Wire Transfer to our bank account to be provided or Nation Hela Online payment powered by 3G Direct pay.

3. Cancellation must be notified in writing and will take effect the day it is received by East Africa Shuttles & Safaris .

The following penalties will apply :-

Cancellation more than 30 days prior to your travel Full Refund
Cancellation between 14 and 7 days - 95% of t cost
Cancellation within 48 Hours - No refund on land cost

4. East Africa Shuttles and Safaris will not and shall not be responsible for any eventualities that may arise once onboard.

5. Should the trip be cancelled by Rift Valley Railways while on board Refund will be made in Kenya Shillings directly to you less of any expenses incured e.g if you have taken meals. For Refund made through East Africa Shuttles and Safaris the same will apply but but only if the Train ticket/tickets are surrendered to us.

6. Responsibility
East Africa Shuttles & Safaris acts only as a co-ordinator for all passengers with respect to services provided by Rift Valley Raiwlays. All bookings with East Africa Shuttles & Safaris are therefore subject to the limitations of liability imposed by the underlying operators involved in the trip.

8. If in Nairobi hotel/Apartment/Guest House - Just call we deliver the tickets and you pay cash or We collect the cash and buy and deliver the tickets.-A Receipt will be offered either way.

9. If Arriving at Airport with out a Ticket or having a Booking we will offer you an airport transfer and pay cash for tickets and collect tickets at Train station -Our airport driver will assist you.

10 .All bookings have a reference number which you will be given

11 . Advise delivery or pick up points of tickets.Tickets are delivered at your hotel,airport or train station (No extra cost).Tickets are not Posted outside the country

12. Rift Valley Railways / Rift Valley train for has no guarantee for non paid seats .

13. Sharing Cabins: If travelling alone unless you pay whole cabin you will be joined by extra person of same sex

14. Tickets are not transferable and alteration of travel dates there is a charge.

15: Check inn time is at leat by 5pm to 6pm

16: Refunds - If payment done by credit card refund will be done on same card - refund will also be have a cancellation of 5% of the amount paid.

17:If refund is by wire transfer it can done via same method or cash where applicable.
