22 days safari Tanzania tour with Africa Wildlife Lodge-safari,Mt kilimanjaro climb and Zanzibar beach holiday

Nothern Tanzania Parks.A Tanzania Safari to Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater, lake Manyara, Tarangire, and the Kilimanjaro National park.

Day 1. This day you are arriving at Kilimanjaro International airport, and you will be drive to you hotel, the Mount Meru Novotel.

Day 2. In the Morning we depart to climb the Kilimanjaro. Marangu gate - Mandara Hut, 9 km, 3-4 hours. From the Guest House/Hotel we drive to the Kilimanjaro National Park, and the Marangu gate in the altitude of 1800m. Here you are being register and to start the trek up Kilimanjaro through the fascinating Mountain rainforest to the Mandara hut in 2750m. There is also a parallel rout through the rainforest, this path is not used by that many people. Overnight at Mandara Hut.

Day 3. Mandara hut - Horombo Hut, 12 km. 5 hours. You leave the Mandara hut in the morning. After a short trek you are leaving the mountain rainforest, and continue up the path that leads up through the alpine zone. The Horombo Hut is in 3750m height. You will reach the hut mid afternoon. Overnight at Horombo hut.

Day 4. Horombo hut - Kibo hut, 12 km. 5-6 hours. After a good nights sleep. You will continue the trek ascending the landscape with cactus like growth, and the last point for filling you watercontainer. From there you are moving into the moon like landscape in the saddle between the Kibo & Mawenzi peaks. The altitude of Kibo Hut is 4700m, and you will reach it in the middle of the afternoon after some hard hours of trekking. Overnight at Kibo Hut.

Day 5. Kibo Hut - Uhuru Peak. You leave Kibo hut between midnight and 1.00 am. To start the trek to coungar the last stage of Africa's highest point. His part of the track is the steepest part on the way towards Uhuru Peak. You will experience 5 hours of very hard trekking to reach Gillman's Point. To reach Uhuru Peak at 5895m altitude you would have 1 more hour of trekking from Gillman's Point. The fascinating colors that are changing in the rising sun are just the right reward. The path down are passing Kibo Hut to Horombo Hut in 3700m. Overnight at Horombo Hut.

Day 6. Horombo Hut - Marangu gate 14 km. 5-7 hours. This day you would follow the Marangu route down to the gate. Here you would receive the diploma for the climb of Kilimanjaro. In the afternoon you will be back in Arusha for a overnight stay.

Day 7. Early morning leaving for Lake Manyara National Park. Late Afternoon Game drive. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 8. After Breakfast departure to Serengeti National Park with game drive on rout. Late afternoon game drive. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 9. After breakfast departure on a game drive on route out of the Serengeti, and after lunch we would arrive at Olduvai gorge, we then continue to the Ngorongoro Crater where we are going to make a late afternoon game drive and then stay overnight at Lodge.

Day 10. The whole day is spent in the Crater, with picnic in the picnic area. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 11. In the early morning hours we are leaving the Crater to drive to the Tarangire Natl. Park. After arrival we would go on the first game drive. There after we are going to the Lodge where we will stay overnight.

Day 12. In the early morning we are going on the last game drive of this safari. In the park that is know for its herds of more than 20 Elephants. After Lunch we return towards Arusha. On the way we are going to stop at the Mkuru camel safari, where we are going to stay overnight at a Maasai Boma.

Day 13. The day start early, and this day you are going to ride the camels, and try to drink camel milk. In the afternoon you are going back to Arusha. Overnight at Hotel in Arusha.

Day 14. In the morning hours departure by buss to Dar es Salaam for overnight stay before tour of Bagamoyo. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 15. Departure in the morning to Bagamoyo north of Dar es Salaam. This town was the capital of former German East Africa. It was the main shipping town for slaves to Zanzibar from where they where sold on to traders. This is also the town where Dr. Livingstone was brought after his death, at Lake Tanganyika. You will visit the ruins of the Coral Mosques at Kaole, graves and other things dated to the 13th century, the old ferry at the great Wami River, reminders of the slave trade: Shackle rings, Stone pens, ECT.., The town itself with its college of art. The snake dance upon Previous arrangements. Lunch and overnight at Paradise HOLIDAY resort.

Day 16. Morning leisure on the Beach. After lunch at the resort you drive back to Dar es Salaam. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 17. In the morning with Hydrofoil to Zanzibar, After Arrival transfer to Beach Resort for overnight stay.

Day 18. On Zanzibar you would have the time to do just what you want. Relax at the Beach, dive in the Indian Ocean, take a tour of Zanzibar, or one of the many other things.

Day 19. Zanzibar. You can tour the Jozani forest, take on a spice tour of Zanzibar.

Day 20. Zanzibar. You could play Beach volley, go windsurfing, or anything else you can do from the Beach resort.

Day 21. Zanzibar.

Day 22. Zanzibar. drive to the airport for flight back to home country from Zanzibar, or drive to the harbour for boat to Dar es salaam for flight home from Dar es Salaam.
