MOMBASA - NAIROBI - MASAI MARA (Nairobi to Masai Mara 265kms)

On our 3 days, 2 nights Mombasa Masai Mara game reserve air flight and road lodge safari, we begin with an early pick up transfer from our Mombasa and coastal beach hotels to Moi airport where we connect by air/flight to Nairobi to meet our driver guide and safari transport for the 4 hour scenic road journey to the Masai Mara game reserve.......

A long and exciting day awaits us. We will be picked from our respective hotels and transferred to the Moi Airport Mombasa.
0600hrs : We depart Mombasa aboard the one-hour flight to Nairobi.

0630pmhrs : Arrival Train station and overnight train Mombasa Nairobi
Day 1 Mombasa-Nairobi by train
i. Met by our professional driver guide at Nairobi train station with your safari mini bus.
Our safari journey takes us through the agriculturally rich central highlands of Kenya with views of coffee, tea and subsistence farmlands. We stop over to view the fall of the Great Rift Valley before descending to the floor of the Masai country to arrive at our luxury lodge or camp for lunch. Check in at our accommodation base; freshen up before proceeding for an afternoon game viewing drive. We return to our Lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: AT THE MASAI MARA

Game viewing extravaganza! Whatever pundits say, Masai Mara remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the world. The reserve hosts the highest concentration of wild animals than any other park in the region. The scenic appeal of this tree studded savannah, its’ moderate climate and diversity of wild game species makes it a destination plus. We will transverse the reserve on unlimited missions of encountering the big five and more of the lesser game. Our mid-day meals will be Table’D hote or picnic.

DAY 3: MASAI MARA - NAIROBI - MOMBASA (Masai Mara to Nairobi 265 kms)

Last day of our safari. We will start at dawn to catch the sunrise and the early hunters and grazers. We are now wrapping it up in a paced, relaxed game drive where keenness has replaced our earlier eagerness. We will return to our base for breakfast before venturing out for a final farewell game drive.

Lunch will be at our base before departing for Nairobi to arrive in the late afternoon.

Transfer to the Nairobi Railway Station for our overnight train journey.

1900hrs : Departure for Mombasa on train - 1st class ticket.
