was also very nice and accommodating. Our last night's stay in the center
of Nairobi was an experience but we survived. I guess our
plans were not firm enough at the time of booking the safari and we were
not sure we would stay in Nairobi so we did not book a hotel upon our
return. Unfortunately upon arrival at the airport we were bombarded by
solicitors offering all kinds of "deals".Hope to get back to

We are back home and full of experience since our safari. We are very
pleased over our opportunity of seeing the crowded savanna. Simon was
a very good guid and gave us the possibility to spot a huge number of
lions, cheetas and even 2 leopards. Compared to South Africa, Kenya is
a better safari land.

Dear Iris and Jordan,
I hope I did not startle your very polite son last night when I called
from the airport in Nairobi. I realized as soon as the Arusha shuttle
dropped us that I had left a jacket on the seat. I was able to connect
by
phone with a driver for Riverside, a Chris at 722348656. He said he would
look for it and if found, would return it to you at TSA. It was an old
denim shirt, that is sentimental to me for the bird patch on the back.
It
is very old. If they return it, wonderful. If not, do not trouble yourself
at all. I was very careless!
If found, perhaps you can ask Anna to return it to me when she returns
home.
We had a most wonderful time during out trip. For me, the best part by
far about TZ is the poeple!

After a long flight (8 hrs to London and then 2 hrs. at the airport and

another 6 hrs. to New York) I am back home. I have already returned to
my
regular working schedule but the images of my trip are still in my mind.
I've told everyone about how you helped me and how we became friends.
This
weekend, fortunately, is a long holiday weekend. That means that in
addition to having off Saturday and Sunday we also have off on Monday
because it is Memorial Day, the day we remember the soldiers who died
in the
World War I and II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War and now the War in
Iraq.
