Gorilla trekking safari Uganda, Uganda mountain gorillas, gorilla trekking safaris Uganda, Trekking Gorilla Safaris in Uganda, Bwindi Gorilla Tracking Tours. UGANDA GORILLA SAFARI - A 3 DAY PRIVATE UGANDA GORILLA TRACKING SAFARI TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE GORILLA FOREST This 3 days Uganda Gorilla Safari starts and finishes
in Kampala. This safari takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
for mountain gorilla tracking. It is estimated that only 700 mountain
gorillas are remaining world wide. Therefore tracking some of these
remaining World giants is a fantastic experience one should not miss.
Trekking through the deep thick forests of Bwindi in search of the mountain
gorillas ranks among the top adventure world class activity that Uganda
offers. In Bwindi Gorilla Forest there are four habituated families
of mountain gorillas. These endangered primates live in this thicker
moist tropical forest. Tracking is a challenging activity which may
involve you trekking over the steep hillsides in search of the remaining
few mountain gorillas. On this gorilla safari you will not only see
gorillas! During the tour you may also have the chance to see other
primates living in the forest as well as birds. Day 1: Kampala - Bwindi Gorilla Forest bwindi gorilla trekking tour and safariDay 2: Mountain

A 4 DAY PRIVATE GORILLA
SAFARI ITINERARY IN SOUTHERN Day 2 An early start – a wonderful chance to take a guided
nature walk. This walk takes you to the Salt Lick Area. A strategically
located wooden platform (Observation point) offers a chance to see at
least four different species of animals at any one point while they lick
the salty soil. Return to the camp for breakfast, after which we will
head through the highlands to Kabale, where we will stop for lunch. Continue
on your journey and make brief stops at places of interests including
Kanaba Gap to view the dramatic Virunga Volcanoes and beautiful terraced
hills. Day 3 Up relatively early for a hearty breakfast to give
you the energy needed for gorilla tracking in Nkuringo. Before 8:00 am
report to the ranger station for registration and a talk by one of the
rangers; the guides will then take you through the forest pushing your
way through the undergrowth, parting thick creepers, to track the gorillas.
(This trek can take from half an hour to 5 hours – a reasonable degree
of fitness is required as well as a sturdy pair of walking shoes) Sit
in the forest among the gorillas, listening to them grumble to each other,
and marvel at the sheer size of the dominant male; the silverback. It
is an extraordinary feeling sitting in the dense rainforest knowing you
are with a few of the last remaining mountain gorillas. It’s amazing to
think there are only about 650 of these beautiful creatures left! Day 4 Early start for Kampala stopping for lunch at Mbarara. Arrive late afternoon. The Safari price includes; * The cost of all ground transportation and Fuel Day 1 Depart from Kampala by road and head south-West
to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will have a short stop at the
Equator an informative talk as well as a photographic opportunity. We
will continue to Mbarara where were we will stop for lunch. Your drive
will take you through Uganda rolling green hills through the highlands,
also known as the ‘Switzerland of Uganda’. Your road will then head even
higher to where you can see the triangular peaks of the Virunga volcanoes
of Rwanda and the Congo. We then drop down into a valley, to Bwindi Impenetrable
Forest, home of the mountain gorilla. Tonight you will sleep to the sounds
of the mountain rainforest. uganda and rwanda gorilla trekDay 2 Go gorilla tracking,
walking up steep densely forested hills before finally coming across the
gorillas camouflaged in the vegetation. An inspiring moment! (This trek
can take from half an hour to 5 hours – a reasonable degree of fitness
is required as well as a sturdy pair of walking shoes) Sit in the forest
among the gorillas, listening to them grumble to each other, and marvel
at the sheer size of the dominant male; the silverback. It is an extraordinary
feeling sitting in the dense rainforest knowing you are with a few of
the last remaining mountain gorillas. It’s amazing to think there are
only about 650 of these beautiful creatures left! Day 3 After breakfast, leave for Rwanda. [Clocks go backward
one hour]. Stroll around the Lodge, or simply take in the panoramic sunset
over the volcanoes. Day 4 Early morning, you will enter the Gorilla sanctuary
of Parc National des Volcans, the rain tropical forest covering the hills
surrounding Virunga Volcanoes. The trekking is a demanding but rewarding
experience. Ensure you bring with you enough water and the packed lunch.
The time spent in the forest depends on the movements of the Gorillas
in their natural environments. After the activity, you will return back
to the Cam. If you have the energy this afternoon, you will visit the
golden monkeys or drive to Gisenyi, visit Ross Carr's orphanage and Lake
Kivu or climb the Visoke/Muhavura volcanoes, or trek to Dian Fossey's
